What is the purpose of this survey?
At Disability Solutions, our mission is to connect individuals with disabilities to meaningful careers and help employers build more inclusive, accessible workplaces. We believe disability inclusion is both a social imperative and a strategic business advantage—fostering innovation, engagement, and stronger company culture.
The 2025 Disability at Work Survey aims to explore how recent political and organizational shifts—particularly the rollback of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives—are impacting disabled job seekers and employees. With growing national scrutiny of DEI, we are especially focused on how these changes affect individuals' willingness to self-disclose a disability to employers and whether they feel supported, protected, and seen.
This year’s supplementary questions will gather insights on:
- The impact of DEI rollbacks on psychological safety and inclusion
- Comfort levels and barriers related to disclosing a disability
- What employees need to feel empowered and valued in today’s workplace climate
Your feedback will help us track these trends year over year and elevate the voices of people with disabilities in national conversations about workplace equity.
How can I participate?
We value your voice. If you are a U.S. resident, 18 years or older, and identify as a person with a disability, we invite you to share your experiences. Your insights are essential to shaping a more inclusive and equitable future of work.
How will my responses be used?
Survey responses will remain confidential and anonymous. The insights we gather will help us:
- Develop resources and training for employers to improve inclusive hiring, retention, and workplace culture
- Advise companies—especially our clients—on how to respond to the evolving needs of the disability community
- Advocate for stronger protections and visibility for workers with disabilities, especially in the face of current political and policy shifts
We’ll also use aggregate results to publish thought leadership and share the real-world perspectives of people with disabilities, ensuring that policy and business decisions are informed by those most affected. You can view our 2024 survey findings here.
